(FCVS).
Who we are
FCVS is an infrastructure organisation
for the Voluntary and Community Sector in Fenland, North
East Cambridgeshire.
Fenland is an area of diverse
communities, predominantly rural villages and market
towns, with areas of deprivation.
'Our mission is to improve the quality of life of the
citizens of Fenland by encouraging, promoting,
supporting and developing the work of voluntary
organisations and community groups in the District and
helping them to be as effective and sustainable as
possible. We will raise the profile of the
Voluntary Sector, recognising its diversity and the
contribution it makes to the community.'
FCVS provides a range of services for local member
groups including:

including funding, setting up and developing
organisations, policy/planning. |

Bi-monthly newsletter with the latest on local and
national issues. |

Access to a range of equipment which members may
borrow free of charge. |

Representation of the views of the sector at
Strategic meetings and partnerships. |
